Forge a World Together
Bring your audience together to build something real. Arium: Forge is a facilitated collaborative worldbuilding experience for 50 to 500 people — and every participant walks away a co-creator of a publishable world.
Start Planning Your ForgeHow It Works
Before
We collaborate with your team to choose a theme, prepare custom materials, and train volunteer moderators. Your event gets a unique world concept with original art.
During
Attendees split into tables of six. Each table takes ownership of a region of the world, guided through Arium's structured worldbuilding process by trained moderators.
After
Every contribution is collected and credited. The world your audience built together becomes a real, publishable creative artifact — available to your community.
Who It's For
Conventions & Fan Events
Give your attendees the event they'll talk about for years. SciFi, fantasy, anime, gaming — any fandom that loves world-building.
Writing Conferences
Worldbuilding is the foundation of great fiction. Give your writers a world to write in — together.
Universities & Education
Collaborative worldbuilding teaches empathy, negotiation, and systems thinking by doing. Perfect for creative writing, game design, and orientation events.
Corporate Team Building
Strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and team alignment — through an experience your team will actually enjoy.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a Forge event cost?
Every event is custom-quoted based on your group size, location, and which package you choose. We offer three tiers — from the core event experience to a full publication-ready world artifact. Get in touch and we'll build a proposal that fits your budget.
What does our venue need to provide?
A room with tables that seat 6-8 people each, a projector or large screen, and a sound system for the host. We handle everything else: slides, handouts, moderator training, surveys, and post-event production.
How many people can participate?
We've run Forge events for groups of 100 and the format scales to 200 or even 500 participants. The only limit is your venue's capacity and A/V setup. We recruit and train volunteer moderators from your community to ensure every table has a great experience.
Who owns the world that gets created?
That's up to you. Historically, we've released the world details under CC-BY 4.0 so the entire community can use them. We can also turn the results over to your organization exclusively. We'll discuss ownership and licensing as part of planning.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend reaching out at least 3-6 months before your event. This gives us time for the theme collaboration, material preparation, and moderator coordination. For larger events (200+), more lead time is better.
